August 11, 2004 - 22:41 i like jean harlow. i assumed she was like marilyn monroe, where she looks pretty and talks in a cute voice and never says or does anything mean. but i like that scene in dinner at eight where she goes from baby talk to a completely different voice and argues with the doctor as soon as the maid leaves the room. anything associated with babies or pregnancy disgusts me, but billy corgan's birthmark is awesome. it looks like blood. i really don't want to know how people get birthmarks, so the similarity to blood is nice. it's also nice that he has some kind of physical abnormality, although i'd prefer a missing limb. wow, the howard hughes that directed jean harlow is the same as the one in rasputina's "howard hughes," the former pilot, a billionaire, who stopped cutting his finger and toenails and hair, became a recluse, was scared to death of germs, and lived off of candy, cake, and chocolate!
